KEY ISSUES

PUBLIC SAFETY: Keeping Mount Pleasant safe starts with leadership that makes it a top priority. Our Town Council must support police, fire, and first responders, invest in safer roads and neighborhoods, and ensure our community has the resources to respond quickly when it matters most. Protect Mount Pleasant is standing up for leaders who put safety ahead of politics - because nothing matters more than protecting the people who call Mount Pleasant home.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Mount Pleasant deserves a Town Council that listens to its residents - not special interests or outside pressures. Council decisions should reflect the priorities of the people who live, work, and raise families here. From public safety to responsible spending, leaders must be held accountable for putting residents first and staying focused on what matters most: protecting Mount Pleasant’s quality of life and the character that makes our town special.

SMART BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Mount Pleasant taxpayers deserve a Town Council that spends wisely and puts core priorities first. Instead of trying to push through costly development deals at Patriots Point, Town leaders should be focused on funding our first responders and investing in public safety where it’s needed most. Protect Mount Pleasant believes in smart, transparent budgeting that serves residents — not backroom projects. Every dollar should go toward keeping our community safe, strong, and thriving.
